Dyrachyo Spills Tea on His Departure from Gaimin Gladiators

Dota 2 pro player Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov, currently on a break from competition, recently revealed why he left Gaimin Gladiators, the team he played for from 2022 until October 2024.

His sudden departure that year, replaced by Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov, surprised fans. While Gaimin Gladiators offered no explanation, some supporters suspected behind-the-scenes conflict between Dyrachyo and team management.

The youngster then joined Tundra Esports in December 2024, staying until early April 2025. He subsequently decided to take an indefinite break from the pro scene to focus on improving his stream and participating in games other than Dota 2.

Recently, Dyrachyo has reappeared, occasionally discussing Dota esports during his personal livestreams or collaborations with other streamers. Unexpectedly, he spilled the tea on his decision to seek opportunities outside GG.

On Alexander “Nix” Levin’s Twitch channel, Dyrachyo stated he didn’t leave the team voluntarily but was pushed out by pressure from several players and GG’s head coach, Aske “Cy” Larsen. He even felt himself being ‘antagonized’ during the team’s decision-making process.

He further explained that players like Quinn “Quinn” Callahan and then-captain Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp tried to reinstate him to the main roster. However, management and the coaching staff opposed this. Dyrachyo was ultimately outvoted and decided not to fight to keep his position on the team.

For now, Dyrachyo shows no signs of returning to professional Dota competition soon and is only interested in participating in major events as a talent.
