Dukalis Jabs at Team Falcons Due to Excessive Pauses During ESL DreamLeague S26 Opener

The opening match of ESL DreamLeague Season 26 between Parivision and Team Falcons has sparked frustration and tension between the teams after frequent pauses from latter side.

In the group-stage clash that concluded last night (19/5), Parivision secured a decisive 2-0 victory over Falcons in just over an hour total. However, most Parivision players criticized their opponents for excessive pausing early in the games, including team captain Andrey “Dukalis” Kuropatkin.

Dukalis openly voiced his frustration over Falcons’ repeated pauses, which he claimed severely disrupted the match’s momentum. The Russian player even mocked his rivals for allegedly making excuses whenever the situation turned unfavorable for them.

This sarcastic jab came during a key moment in the series when Falcons called their third major pause. An irritated Dukalis fired off a message in all-chat, prompting a response from Falcons’ support player Andreas “Cr1t” Nielsen, who blamed severe lag issues.

Lag again? Yeah, that’s right. Just like you put 20 pauses because of headphones at tournament” Dukalis typed.

The win was fueled by the standout performances of Dukalis and Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov, who controlled every lane flawlessly. This result propelled Parivision to current second place in the Group B standings and pushing Falcons to the second-lowest position.
