Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali has shared his views on Francesco Bagnaia and his early season form in the 2025 MotoGP championship. The two-time world champion, according to Domenicali, is yet to show his full potential.

Bagnaia faced several challenges during preseason testing — a situation Domenicali clarified was not entirely the rider’s fault.

“Pecco started with two races that weren’t his best. He finished winter testing with difficulties that weren’t his fault,” said Domenicali.
“That’s why we haven’t seen his true potential yet. But I’m confident we will, starting from the upcoming races.”

Tardozzi Echoes Support for Bagnaia

Davide Tardozzi, Ducati Corse’s sport manager, also expressed belief that Bagnaia is preparing to face tough competition in the MotoGP Americas round and beyond.
