Ducati Boss Condemns Fans Booing Marc Marquez at Mugello

Ducati team manager Davide Tardozzi expressed anger towards fans who booed Marc Marquez after winning the 2025 Italian MotoGP sprint race at Mugello Circuit — Ducati’s home track.

The Spanish rider still faces unfavorable treatment from some Italian fans — despite now racing for the local factory Ducati team.

The tension between Marquez and Italian fans stems from his feud with Valentino Rossi a decade ago. The conflict peaked when Rossi accused Marquez of sabotage at the 2015 Australian GP — leading to their famous incident at Sepang Circuit.

“My tenth world title was stolen by Marquez,” Rossi stated in a podcast with Andrea Migno last year.

Although only a handful of fans still harbor resentment, boos and whistles were heard along the main straight — right after Marquez secured the sprint race victory.
