Dubois Weighs 16 Pounds More than Usyk Ahead of Wembley Clash

According to official weigh-in at BoxPark near Wembley Stadium, Daniel Dubois registered 243.8 pounds — 16.5 pounds heavier than his opponent Oleksandr Usyk who weighed in at 227.3 pounds.

Supporters of both boxers provided vocal backing during the weigh-in ceremony. Compared to their first fight two years ago — which Usyk won via 9th round KO — Dubois comes in lighter than his previous weight of 248 pounds.

Despite his smaller frame since moving up from cruiserweight, Usyk has proven that superior technique and boxing IQ can overcome physical differences — evidenced by his two victories over Tyson Fury last year.

Tomorrow night’s fight presents Usyk with a chance to become undisputed heavyweight champion for the second time, while Dubois could become the first British boxer to achieve this feat since Lennox Lewis 26 years ago.
