DRX Termi Fires Back at Frost After VCT Pacific 2025 Drama

DRX’s head coach, Seon-ho “Termi” Pyeon, has addressed the behavior and comments made by Talon Esports’ Hector “Frost” Rosario, his opponent in the lower bracket quarterfinals of the VCT Pacific 2025: Stage 1, which concluded last Sunday (4/5).

The two coaches became the center of attention in the global Valorant community after a brief but heated exchange during the pre-match intros. Frost notably refused to shake Termi’s hand before and after the game, glaring at him dismissively.

The incident drew reactions from fellow esports professionals watching the VCT Pacific 2025 broadcast. Frost later addressed the drama, claiming there was a “real smoke” between himself and termi. He alleged that the South Korean coach had leaked scrim footage to gain an unfair advantage for his team.

Termi, however, quickly denied these accusations, calling Frost’s claims baseless. During a post-match interview with VCT Pacific, he criticized Frost’s conduct as “rude and unprofessional”—a sentiment echoed by DRX player Kang “BeYN” Ha-bin.

“It was very disappointing. Frost ignored Riot’s conduct education and guidelines, and his behavior was completely disrespectful for a pro player and coach.”

In a bold social media challenge, termi declared he would step down as coach if evidence of scrim leaks could be proven. Conversely, he demanded a public apology from Frost if the allegations remain unsubstantiated.
