DPMM FC loses in friendly match against Sabah FC

According to Makan Bola, DPMM FC suffered a defeat in a friendly match against Sabah FC at Likas Stadium on Saturday (26/7).

Coach Jamie McAllister fielded Indonesian national team striker — Ramadhan Sananta — as a starter in the preparation match ahead of the 2025-2026 Malaysia League season.

Sabah FC as the home team fielded their best squad with:

• Darren Lok
• Dane Ingham
• Daniel Ting

The Rhinos took the lead in the 11th minute through Daniel Ting’s strike that breached DPMM FC’s goal. The advantage increased nine minutes later — Spanish midfielder Miguel Cifuentes put his name on the scoreboard.

The match ended with a 2-0 victory for Sabah FC over the Brunei Prince-owned club.
