Dortmund advances to Club World Cup round of 16 after defeating Ulsan

Borussia Dortmund has advanced to the 2025 Club World Cup round of 16 after defeating Ulsan HD 1-0 in Cincinnati.

Daniel Svensson became Die Borussen’s hero — scoring the only goal in the 36th minute after capitalizing on Jobe Bellingham’s assist.

The goal originated from an Ulsan defensive error that Bellingham exploited to win possession — then provided a pass to Svensson who finished the opportunity with a low shot.

The German side collected seven points from three group stage matches — recording two victories and one draw to secure the top position in Group F.
