Diogo Jota’s wife shares touching message on one-month wedding anniversary

Rute Cardoso, wife of the late Diogo Jota, shared an emotional message on social media on their one-month wedding anniversary.

The 28-year-old Liverpool player died alongside his brother André Silva in a car crash near Zamora, Spain — just weeks after their wedding in Porto.

“One month of our ‘until death do us part’,” wrote Cardoso alongside three wedding photos, adding that she will be “forever” his bride.

Spain’s Civil Guard is currently finalizing the expert report on the accident before submitting it to the local court.
