According to De Gelderlander and Voetbal International reports, Dick Schreuder is on the verge of an agreement to become the new coach of NEC Nijmegen — the club where Indonesian national team defender Calvin Verdonk currently plays.

The 53-year-old coach will replace Rogier Meijer — with a proposed contract duration of three years ahead.

Schreuder has coaching experience at various clubs — including Spain’s Castellon and Netherlands’ PEC Zwolle. During his tenure at PEC Zwolle, he managed current Persib player Gervane Kastaneer, as well as his former pupil Eliano Reijnders who previously represented the Indonesian national team.
