Dewa United shows financial strength after Liga 1 runner-up finish

Banten-based club Dewa United shows great ambition after finishing as Liga 1 2024/25 runners-up — eight points behind champions Persib Bandung.

The four-year-old team demonstrates its financial power by focusing on maintaining the core squad selected by coach Jan Olde Riekerink.

Club management has announced the release of eight players:

• Angelo Meneses
• Agung Mannan
• Reva Adi
• Risto Mitrevski

Dewa United successfully retained key players like Ricky Kambuaya, Egy Maulana Vikri, Alexis Messidoro, and Hugo Gomes — a strategic move towards the 2025/26 Liga 1 season.
