Derby County signs USMNT striker Patrick Agyemang from Charlotte FC

Patrick Agyemang has officially joined Derby County from MLS club Charlotte FC — the transfer fee reportedly reaches $7 million.

The 24-year-old striker recently impressed with the United States national team at the 2025 Gold Cup — scoring two goals in six appearances and helping his team secure the runner-up position.

Agyemang’s performance with Charlotte FC has also been notable — he has collected six goals and one assist from 16 matches this season. Overall, the striker has netted 17 goals in 59 regular league games since 2023.

Derby County — who narrowly avoided relegation last season with a 19th place finish — hopes this new striker addition will strengthen their attacking line.
