Dejan/Fadia eliminated in Swiss Open 2025 first round

Indonesian mixed doubles pair, Dejan Ferdinansyah/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, suffered a defeat in the first round of the Swiss Open 2025 at St Jakobshalle, Basel, as reported by Bolasport.com.

Facing Thai representatives Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Supissara Paewsampran — the pair who also defeated them in last month’s Thailand Masters final — Dejan/Fadia had to acknowledge their opponents’ superiority in the match held early Thursday WIB.

Puavaranukroh/Paewsampran immediately showed their dominance by securing three consecutive points at the start of the match. Although Dejan/Fadia managed to close the gap to 2-3 — the Thai pair pulled away again to lead 6-2 through attacks directed at Fadia.

The Thai pair’s advantage continued to grow until reaching the interval with a score of 11-3 — leaving five Indonesian representatives remaining in this tournament.
