The imminent arrival of Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov to Team Falcons is set to bring drastic changes to the team’s roster. One of the most discussed aspects of this transfer is the status of Abdulkhalik “degster” Gasanov, who has now been moved to the Falcons’ inactive lineup.

As previously reported, m0NESY is expected to join Falcons ahead of the BLAST.tv 2025 circuit starting in June. Barring any last-minute changes, this move will leave degster without a position on the team.

Despite this, the 23-year-old Russian player remains unfazed about his future. In a recent interview with HLTV, he acknowledged the rumors and stated he plans to continue working hard while awaiting new opportunities.

“I hope I’ll be able to play in tier one, honestly. I don’t know what’s going to happen. I wasn’t talking with anyone. I put myself aside from social media in a way that I would never talk with someone while playing a tournament.

I didn’t read some of the messages and stuff like this. I just hope I’ll get the chance, to be honest, and if I get it, I’ll do my best to keep performing.”

During his time with Falcons, degster secured a runner-up finish at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 and claimed victory at PGL Bucharest 2025. Considering his mechanical skills, the Russian AWP’er is likely to remain a prime target for top-tier teams should he depart Falcons in the near future.
