Dean Zandbergen Ready to Join Indonesia National Team, Confirms Contact with PSSI

VVV Venlo striker Dean Zandbergen has declared his readiness to join the Indonesia national team, revealing that he has been in contact with the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). This statement was made during an interview on Yussa Nugraha’s YouTube channel.

Zandbergen confirmed that he has spoken with several key figures, including PSSI staff and Fardy Bachdim, a player agent known for facilitating naturalization processes for Indonesian football.

“Recently, I’ve been in touch with the current PSSI staff to talk about myself,” said Zandbergen.

“Yes, I’ve also spoken with Fardy,” he added.

In addition to PSSI, Indonesia’s Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) has also reportedly contacted the striker — underlining the serious efforts being made to bring Zandbergen into the Garuda squad.
