According to RTV Oost reports, Dean James is on the verge of transferring to Greek League club AEK Athens.

The Indonesian national team left-back has just achieved remarkable success with Go Ahead Eagles — winning this season’s KNVB Cup which secured the club’s place in the Europa League.

Dean James‘s performance in the 2024/2025 season has been impressive with 25 appearances, two goals, and two assists for Go Ahead Eagles.

The Indonesian player’s transfer process has now entered a serious phase — AEK Athens has been conducting intensive communications regarding Dean James‘s future at their club.

“The left-back is said to be in good condition in Greece,” local media reported.
