Dean James emerges as Ajax Amsterdam target after impressive Eredivisie display

Go Ahead Eagles player Dean James is currently in the spotlight in Dutch football — his performance in Eredivisie this season has caught the attention of major clubs.

James’s performance this season has been solid with two goals and two assists from 25 appearances with Go Ahead Eagles — despite being under contract until 2028.

According to Dutch media FootballTransfers, Ajax Amsterdam is now considering bringing in James. While Greek giants AEK Athens are also reportedly interested, Ajax appears to be the more promising destination.
