Kevin De Bruyne is set to begin a new chapter in his career in Italian Serie A with Napoli — the club has secured the Belgian midfielder’s signature on a free transfer for the 2025/26 season.

After a decade with Manchester City, the 33-year-old has chosen to embrace a new challenge in Naples — both parties have agreed to a two-year contract with an option for an additional season.

Napoli’s Sporting Director, Gianni Improta, revealed that coach Antonio Conte has special plans for De Bruyne — the creative midfielder known for his intelligent passing might be assigned a new role in the team’s defensive line.
