De Bruyne Officially Joins Napoli, Compared to Ronaldo’s Juventus Transfer

According to Bolasport.com, Kevin De Bruyne has officially joined Napoli as a free agent — a move immediately compared to Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at Juventus seven years ago.

The Belgian midfielder completed his medical tests and signed a two-year contract — with an option for a third season with the Serie A champions.

Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, warmly welcomed the former Manchester City star.

“Welcome, Kevin,” De Laurentiis wrote on his social media account.

De Bruyne’s move to Italy bears similarity to Ronaldo’s transfer to Juventus — both players were 33 years old when deciding to join Serie A clubs.
