David Starr ready to race for Garage 66 at Atlanta Motor Speedway

Garage 66, formerly known as MBM Motorsports, has announced that David Starr will drive their No. 66 Ford in next weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

The non-charter team has fielded several different drivers this year — including Josh Bilicki who finished 33rd at the Coca-Cola 600, the team’s best result so far. The 57-year-old Starr brings extensive NASCAR experience with 18 Cup Series starts and hundreds of starts in other divisions.

“EchoPark Speedway is one of the most exciting tracks on the schedule, and I’m thrilled to compete here with such an incredible group of partners,” said Starr.

The veteran driver has an impressive record of achievements — four wins in Truck Series and a fourth-place championship finish in 2006. The team’s effort will be supported by several main sponsors:
