David Beckham to receive knighthood from King Charles

According to various media reports, David Beckham — Manchester United and England legend — is set to receive knighthood in King Charles’ Birthday Honours list.

Beckham’s journey began at Manchester United in 1992 — he became part of the famous “Class of 92” and won six Premier League titles. The now 50-year-old made 115 appearances for England, with 59 of them as captain.

After leaving United, Beckham joined Real Madrid as part of the Galacticos era — playing alongside Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldo. He then became a pioneer by joining LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer, before ending his career at AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.

Beckham’s contributions extend beyond the field — he has been a UNICEF ambassador for two decades and was appointed as King’s Foundation ambassador last year. Currently, he serves as president and co-owner of Inter Miami, which successfully brought Lionel Messi to the club two years ago.
