Dall’Igna asks Bagnaia to smile after setting fastest time at Assen

Ducati Corse Director, Gigi Dall’Igna asked Francesco Bagnaia not to show a disappointed expression while in parc ferme — a moment that is always caught on live broadcast cameras.

“You should be happy hey! Put a smile on that face. I want to see a smile on your face!” exclaimed Dall’Igna.

“You’ve had a great race, you even set the fastest lap,” added Dall’Igna.

The Ducati rider managed to record the best time of 1 minute 32.220 seconds in 26 laps at the Assen Circuit — beating Marc Marquez’s time. However, this achievement has not been able to change Bagnaia’s mood who still appeared disappointed.
