Cristiano Ronaldo Collaborates with Kingsman Director for New Film Studio

Football megastar Cristiano Ronaldo and British director Matthew Vaughn have announced their collaboration in establishing an independent film studio called UR•Marv.

“Cristiano Ronaldo loves movies, Matthew Vaughn loves sport — and they both love a good story,” stated the official studio announcement.

Vaughn — known as the producer of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and director of the Kingsman franchise — expressed his admiration for Ronaldo.

“Cristiano has created stories on the pitch that I could never have written, and I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him — he’s a real-life superhero,” said Vaughn.

The new studio has produced two action films and is preparing to start a third project — with the first release announcement coming soon.

The 40-year-old Al Nassr captain maintains significant digital influence with over one billion followers across various social media platforms.

A recent study by the Portuguese Institute of Administration and Marketing shows Ronaldo’s brand value reaching €850 million in 2025 — representing a 325% increase over the past five years.
