Cremonese Targets Emil Audero After Failed Attempt to Sign Roma Goalkeeper

Serie A promotion side Cremonese is considering signing Indonesian national team goalkeeper Emil Audero – this move comes after failing to secure the AS Roma goalkeeper.

La Cremo earned their Serie A promotion through Serie B playoffs this season. They secured their promotion ticket after defeating Juve Stabbia in the semifinals and Spezia with a 3-2 aggregate in the final.

Davide Nicola‘s team joins Sassuolo and Pisa who had already secured direct promotion from Serie B. Cremonese finished fourth in the standings before achieving success through playoffs.

In preparation for Serie A 2025-2026, the Lombardy-based club plans to strengthen their defense – their initial target Pierluigi Gollini from AS Roma hit obstacles, causing the team to shift their focus to Audero as an alternative.
