Corey Heim Dominates Inaugural NASCAR Truck Race at Lime Rock Park

Corey Heim delivered a perfect performance in the inaugural NASCAR Truck Series race at Lime Rock Park — the driver dominated from pole position to checkered flag.

The TRICON Garage driver led 99 of the total 100 laps, only briefly losing the lead to Layne Riggs during a restart. Heim also posted the fastest lap time and won both race stages.

“It was nothing short of incredible. These are the races I really look forward to and to see that all pay off is super special. The truck was so good today, I can’t complain one bit about that. Flawless day,” stated Heim.

Top five finishers:
* Ty Majeski in second place
* Gio Ruggiero in third place
* Ben Rhodes in fourth place
* Australian Supercars star Cam Waters in fifth place

The race was briefly delayed due to fluid leakage from one truck that required a red flag. In the closing stages, Jordan Taylor’s spin from the top five positions caused chaos, but Heim managed to avoid trouble and maintain his victory.
