Connor Zilisch claims dramatic NASCAR Xfinity victory at Indianapolis

Connor Zilisch secured a historic victory at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Xfinity race — delivering JR Motorsports their 100th win in the series.

“This is awesome. Those bricks look really kissable. 100 wins for JRM, this is awesome,” said Zilisch after the race.

The race unfolded dramatically with multiple incidents — Kyle Larson lost control and crashed into Justin Allgaier in Turn 2, while a battle between Aric Almirola and Austin Hill ended in a violent crash that resulted in Hill receiving a five-lap penalty.

In the final four-lap sprint, Taylor Gray briefly led before Zilisch reclaimed the lead with a push from Sam Mayer. Zilisch maintained position until the checkered flag.

Top five finishers:
* Sam Mayer – second place
* Taylor Gray – third place
* Kyle Larson – fourth place
* Ryan Sieg – fifth place
