Como targets talented Spanish youngster Jesus Rodriguez

As reported by Sky Sport, Italian club Como — led by Cesc Fabregas — is pursuing the signature of talented Spanish youngster Jesus Rodriguez.

The Djarum Group-owned club has initiated preliminary negotiations with Real Betis to acquire the 19-year-old player — continuing their trend of recruiting Spanish players.

Como has previously successfully brought several Spanish players to their club:

• Alberto Moreno
• Sergi Roberto
• Ivan Azon
• Pepe Reina

However, Como’s efforts to secure Rodriguez’s signature won’t be straightforward — considering other clubs are also interested in his services.
