Como ready to spend $100M to bring in Morata and Thiaw

Italian club Como — owned by Indonesian businessmen — is pursuing two AC Milan players, Alvaro Morata and Malick Thiaw, with total transfer value reaching $100 million.

Alvaro Morata reportedly agreed to move to Como due to his close relationship with Cesc Fabregas — his former teammate at Chelsea and Spanish national team. The proposed loan scheme mirrors the Galatasaray agreement — 6-month contract with automatic 12-month extension and permanent purchase option.

However, Galatasaray remains reluctant to release the Spanish striker as they hold rights to retain the player until January 2026. As for Malick Thiaw, AC Milan has agreed to a transfer fee of 25 million euros — only awaiting the player’s approval.
