Como 1907 confirms permanent transfer of Maximo Perrone from Manchester City

Como 1907 has announced the permanent signing of Maximo Perrone from Manchester City for 13 million euros — a move that pushes the club’s total spending beyond 100 million euros.

The 22-year-old Argentine midfielder impressed during his loan spell last season — recording 3 assists in 26 appearances and contributing to the team’s 10th-place finish in Serie A.

“He quickly became a standout figure in midfield, demonstrating intelligence, composure, and leadership,” stated the club’s official announcement.

The Lombardy-based club has decided to award Perrone a long-term contract until 2029 — a decision reflecting manager Cesc Fabregas’s satisfaction with his performance.

“As a midfielder with exceptional vision, technical ability, and tactical awareness, Perrone’s arrival marks another important step in Como’s plan to build a young, ambitious, and competitive squad,” the statement added.
