Claudia Scheunemann urges PSSI to organize women’s football competition

Claudia Scheunemann voices her concern to PSSI led by Erick Thohir regarding the absence of women’s football competition.

Although naturalization policy has expanded to women’s football sector — marked by granting Indonesian citizenship to four Dutch diaspora players at the Directorate General of AHU office, South Jakarta.

The four players are:
* Emily Nahon
* Felicia de Zeeuw
* Iris de Rouw
* Isa Warps

While new player naturalization brings positive impact for Indonesian women’s national team — it is not enough without regular competition. The last competition was Liga 1 Women held about six years ago.
