Appeal Rejected, Ciro Alves Receives Additional Punishment from PSSI Committee

Ciro Alves, the forward for Persib Bandung, has been handed an additional two-match suspension following a decision by the PSSI Disciplinary Committee.

This punishment follows Persib’s official appeal regarding the red card Ciro received during their Liga 1 match against Malut United in early May.

Club management responds with disappointment

Adhitia Putra Herawan, Deputy CEO of PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat, voiced frustration over the outcome.

“We regret the additional punishment imposed on Ciro Alves, especially since we need his presence during the critical final stages of the season,” said Adhitia.

Despite the disappointment, Persib Bandung’s management confirmed they would respect the committee’s ruling.
