Ciro Alves Bids Farewell to Persib Bandung, Four Games Left

Ciro Alves has announced his departure from Persib Bandung via a personal post on Instagram. The Brazilian striker expressed his gratitude to everyone involved with the club.

“I want to mention everyone I’ve met who made me feel at home — teammates, coaching staff, equipment crew, medical department, administrative staff, and more,” wrote Ciro Alves.

Although he confirmed his exit, the Maung Bandung forward will still play the remaining four matches of the 2024–2025 Liga 1 season — against Malut United, Barito Putera, Persita, and Persis Solo.

Under Bojan Hodak’s leadership, Persib Bandung still has a strong chance of winning the league title this season.

Meanwhile, his wife, Maria Eduarda Mondadori, revealed that Ciro Alves is open to undergoing naturalization to become an Indonesian citizen in the future.
