Ciro Alves Explains Early Exit Announcement from Persib Bandung

Quoting Tribun Jabar, Ciro Alves revealed the reason behind his early announcement to leave Persib Bandung, even though there are still four matches remaining in the 2024–2025 Liga 1 season.

“I announced my departure before the league ends because this is the best time to talk about it,” wrote Ciro Alves in a post on his personal Instagram account.

The Brazilian forward clarified that the decision was not meant to upset Bobotoh (Persib fans), but rather to avoid distractions during a potential title celebration.

With Persib Bandung now on the verge of winning the 2024–2025 Liga 1 title, Ciro Alves said he didn’t want his departure to become the focus and overshadow the club’s achievement.
