Chou Tien Chen Defeats Lin Chun-Yi at Indonesia Open

Chou Tien Chen advanced to the next round of the 2025 Indonesia Open after defeating his compatriot, Lin Chun-Yi, in the second round match held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.

The tournament’s sixth seed in this BWF Super 1000 event showcased dominance by winning in straight games 22-20, 21-18 within 42 minutes.

The world No. 7 started strong with two consecutive points, but Lin Chun-Yi, ranked 14th in the world, put up a tough fight by equalizing the score five times.

Lin Chun-Yi even led at the first game interval with a score of 11-7, but Chou Tien Chen managed to turn the tide and secure the victory.
