Chia/Soh Shift Focus to Malaysia Masters After Thai Win

Malaysia’s men’s doubles pair, Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik, have shifted their focus to the Malaysia Masters 2025, which kicks off tomorrow and runs through May 25 at the Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur.

Chia/Soh enter the tournament with strong momentum, having just secured the Thailand Open title last week — a victory that followed their triumph at the 2025 Badminton Asia Championships.

Their chance to win on home soil looks promising, especially with the absence of the Indonesian men’s doubles teams, now coached by Herry Iman Pierngadi under BAM (Badminton Association of Malaysia).

However, competition remains fierce, with several top-seeded pairs from around the world set to compete:
