Chen Yu Fei Leads China to Sudirman Cup 2025 Semifinal

Chen Yu Fei — the Tokyo 2020 Olympic champion — led China to the Sudirman Cup 2025 semifinals after defeating Malaysia’s women’s singles player Letshanaa Karupathevan at the Xiamen Fenghuang Gymnasium.

The quarterfinal match ended quickly with a dominant score of 21-8, 21-7 in favor of Chen Yu Fei.

At the start of the match, Letshanaa briefly led with two consecutive points, but Chen Yu Fei swiftly took control by scoring four straight points. Although the Malaysian player stayed in the game at 4-7, the Chinese shuttler widened the gap to five points by the first game interval and never looked back.
