Chelsea Ready to Sign Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid for €40 Million

Chelsea has shown serious interest in Real Madrid’s young striker — Gonzalo Garcia. The Blues are reportedly ready to secure the 21-year-old player with a transfer fee of €40 million.

Despite Garcia making only five appearances in LaLiga, his impressive performance at the Club World Cup has attracted Chelsea’s attention as they seek a replacement for Nicolas Jackson.

Madrid’s new coach, Xabi Alonso, wants to retain Garcia — which would impact Endrick’s loan plans. However, Los Blancos are also open to selling Rodrygo for €80-90 million.

Rodrygo’s performance this season has been disappointing with just six goals from 30 LaLiga appearances. His motivation in training sessions has been questioned, making his future at the Santiago Bernabeu uncertain.

“Nobody doubts Rodrygo’s quality, and at 24, he hasn’t reached his peak. Despite his lack of consistency at Madrid, he could thrive in the right environment,” says football analyst Alex Kirkland.
