Chelsea Gagal Gaet Jamie Gittens, Dortmund Tolak €50 Juta

Borussia Dortmund has rejected Chelsea’s second bid worth €50 million for winger Jamie Gittens, according to ESPN reports.

The Premier League club previously made a €35.5 million offer, which was also turned down by the Bundesliga side. Although Gittens is keen to join The Blues, Chelsea must act quickly as the Club World Cup registration deadline is just days away.

The 20-year-old has impressed for Dortmund this season, making 48 appearances across all competitions, scoring 12 goals, and providing five assists. Manchester City, his former club, holds a 10% sell-on clause from the deal that brought him to Germany five years ago.

Meanwhile, Chelsea has ended negotiations for AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan. Rossoneri demanded €30 million for the French international despite having just one year left on his contract — a price Chelsea deemed too high given they already have five senior goalkeepers in their squad.
