Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu to Make Mixed Doubles Debut at US Open 2025

New York, USA – Two of tennis’ biggest young stars, Carlos Alcaraz and Emma Raducanu, are set to team up in the mixed doubles event at the 2025 US Open, set to begin on August 25 at Flushing Meadows.

The Grand Slam champions—Alcaraz (US Open 2022, Wimbledon 2023) and Raducanu (US Open 2021)—have never competed together in professional play, making their partnership one of the most anticipated stories of the tournament.

“We’ve talked about this for a while. Playing mixed doubles with Emma in New York feels right,” said Alcaraz.

“Carlos is one of the most exciting players out there. This will be fun,” Raducanu added.

They’ve received a wild card entry into the draw, and are expected to play their opening match within the first few days of the tournament. Both will also be competing in singles.

Their team-up is expected to boost global attention on the mixed doubles field, which often draws less coverage compared to singles.

Stay tuned for match schedules and updates as the final Grand Slam of the season approaches.
