Carlo Pernat: Marc Marquez returns to his best form in MotoGP

Italian MotoGP analyst Carlo Pernat has analyzed Marc Marquez’s impressive performance at the Qatar GP last weekend.

The Ducati rider demonstrated total dominance — securing pole position, sprint race victory, and main race win at the Lusail Circuit. These perfect results propelled Marquez to the top of the 2025 MotoGP standings.

The success in Qatar became a proving moment for the rider — following his crash incident at the Americas GP two weeks earlier while leading with a significant advantage.

“Marquez has returned to his best level after the fatal accident in Jerez 2020,” Pernat commented on the performance of the rider nicknamed Baby Alien.

Before joining Ducati, the eight-time world champion experienced difficult times with Repsol Honda — due to a series of injuries following the incident at Jerez Circuit.
