Carlo Ancelotti Slams Endrick After Real Madrid’s Narrow Win Over Getafe

Carlo Ancelotti voiced his frustration with Endrick following Real Madrid’s narrow 1-0 victory against Getafe in the 2024/2025 LaLiga campaign.

In his first LaLiga start, Endrick had two golden chances to score — the most notable in the 55th minute when he found himself one-on-one with goalkeeper David Soria, only to waste the opportunity.

“He had two chances. The first was fine, but the second — even if possibly offside — he cannot mess around like that. He’s young and must learn, but he has to shoot better and stop acting like a clown. There’s no place for drama in football,” said Ancelotti.

The 18-year-old striker also failed to assist Arda Güler, who had already scored the opener, opting instead to take the shot himself. He was substituted by Jude Bellingham in the 64th minute.

Real Madrid now sits second in LaLiga, four points behind Barcelona. The two teams will meet this weekend in the Copa del Rey final in Sevilla.
