Cam Waters set to compete in NASCAR Truck Series at Lime Rock Park

Supercars driver Cam Waters — currently sitting second in the 2025 championship standings — will compete in the upcoming NASCAR Truck Series race at Lime Rock Park. The track will host a national-level NASCAR race for the first time.

Waters will pilot the No. 66 for ThorSport Racing — a team he’s already familiar with. Last year, the 30-year-old made two Truck Series appearances with the same team at Martinsville and Kansas, plus one Cup Series start at Sonoma with RFK Racing.

“I am genuinely excited to be heading back over to the USA to race at Lime Rock Park with the ThorSport operation,” Waters stated. “They are a truly great team with an incredibly successful racing background in the NASCAR Truck Series, and I can’t wait to hit the track in my No. 66 Ford F-150 and I’m going after the win.”

This race will mark Waters’ Truck Series debut on a road course — a format more familiar to him than ovals. While Supercars drivers like Marcos Ambrose and Shane van Gisbergen have won races in Cup and Xfinity Series, no driver from Oceania has claimed victory in a Truck Series race.
