UFC featherweight fighter Calvin Kattar reveals his pride in becoming an inspiration to others — through his spectacular defeat.

In a historic fight about 4.5 years ago against former champion Max Holloway, Kattar set a UFC record that might be hard to break — receiving 445 strikes over five rounds of fighting.

In an exclusive Zoom interview facilitated by UFC Indonesia, the 37-year-old fighter shared his perspective on the moment that etched his name in UFC history.

“Usually athletes inspire through victories, but I managed to inspire through this defeat,” said Kattar.
