Cadillac claims Le Mans 24 Hours qualifying pole with razor-thin margin

Alex Lynn achieved a remarkable feat with his Cadillac in Le Mans 24 Hours qualifying — setting a time of 3m22.847s that narrowly beat Dries Vanthoor’s BMW by 0.04 seconds.

In sweltering 31°C heat, Ferrari initially dominated with Yifei Ye leading at 3m23.994s, followed by two other Ferrari cars driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi and Nicklas Nielsen.

Competition intensified when Jack Aitken in Cadillac #311 briefly led, before Kevin Estre of Porsche took the top spot — moments before an Alpine driver incident at the Porsche curves.
