Bukayo Saka wasted no time reminding fans of his value — scoring the match-winner just seven minutes after coming on as a substitute to help Arsenal beat Fulham 2-1 at Emirates Stadium, according to ESPN.

Returning from a three-month layoff following hamstring surgery, Saka entered the match in the 66th minute and made an instant impact. The England international headed in a brilliant flick from Gabriel Martinelli, sealing the crucial three points.

“He lifted the stadium, the energy, and it’s great to have him back,” said manager Mikel Arteta.

The goal was not just decisive — it was historic. Saka became the first Arsenal player since Alexis Sanchez to register at least 10 goals and 10 assists in three consecutive Premier League seasons.

However, the victory came with setbacks. Defender Gabriel Magalhaes was forced off in the first half with a hamstring issue, adding to Arsenal’s growing injury list ahead of next week’s Champions League quarter-final clash against Real Madrid.

Injury concerns also include:

  • Riccardo Calafiori – knee discomfort

  • Ben White – ongoing knee issues

  • Jurrien Timber – substituted due to knee pain

Still, Saka’s return boosts Arsenal’s confidence as they aim for a strong finish in both domestic and European competitions.
