Bubba Wallace delivered an impressive performance at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday, securing a third-place finish behind Hendrick Motorsports teammates Kyle Larson and Alex Bowman.

The 23XI Racing driver led the race for 56 laps, marking a strong showing and achieving his first top-five finish of the season. Throughout the race, playful radio exchanges kept the mood light—especially when Wallace jokingly mentioned a flat tire on the final lap.

“Great weekend, good job boys. Let’s keep doing this,” Wallace told his team.

Crew chief Charles Denike responded with praise: “Really proud of you and everybody. Great work today.”

Wallace lost the lead with 33 laps to go after getting too close to the wall, allowing Bowman to pass on the inside. Despite the setback, he remained upbeat about his team’s progress.

“My pit crew has been on fire. A tremendous amount of work has gone into the last five years of this team to get to where we’re at. We’re not where we want to be, but we are damn sure competitive each and every stop,” Wallace said.

Currently, Wallace sits seventh in the standings after the first six races of the season. The series now heads to Martinsville—where he finished fourth last year.
