Bryan Mbeumo rejects Champions League offer to join Man United

Bryan Mbeumo has turned down the opportunity to play Champions League football with Tottenham Hotspur — the Brentford striker prefers to join Manchester United instead.

After completing the transfer of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Manchester United now targets the services of the 25-year-old Brentford striker to strengthen their attacking line.

The need for new strikers has become the Red Devils’ priority — their goal tally in the Premier League last season reached only 44 goals, better than Everton with 42 goals, Ipswich Town 36 goals, Leicester City 33 goals, and Southampton 26 goals.

Mbeumo has shown strong interest in joining Old Trafford — he even ignored offers from several other Premier League clubs, including the chance to play Champions League football with Tottenham Hotspur.
