British journalist praises media food at 2025 President’s Cup

Liam Rice, Oxford Mail journalist covering Oxford United, expressed his admiration for media services at the 2025 President’s Cup — particularly the packed rice meals served in the press room.

The pre-season tournament organized by PSSI featured two foreign teams — Port FC from Thailand and Oxford United from England.

“This is the best food I’ve ever had in a press room before an Oxford United match,” Rice wrote on his X account about two weeks ago.

This experience occurred before the opening match between Oxford United and Indonesia All Stars, when organizers provided complete packed rice meals with side dishes for working media personnel.
