Brentford Captain Reveals Likely Departure Of Mbeumo And Wissa

Brentford Captain Confirms Mbeumo May Leave This Summer

Brentford captain Christian Nørgaard has confirmed that Bryan Mbeumo is likely to leave the club during the upcoming transfer window, while the future of Yoane Wissa remains uncertain, according to Sky Sports.

Mbeumo and Wissa have each scored 18 goals in the Premier League this season, helping to boost their market value significantly. Reports suggest that Manchester United is currently leading the race to secure Mbeumo’s signature.

“I think Bryan is likely to go,” said Nørgaard. “About Wissa, I don’t know yet. Everyone hopes he might stay.”

Brentford has shown resilience in the past when dealing with major player exits. The departure of Ivan Toney to Al Ahli last season was a key example. In preparation for future changes, the club has already secured the services of Igor Thiago to strengthen their attacking options.

Following three consecutive wins, Brentford currently sits ninth in the Premier League standings, marking a strong finish to their campaign.
