Brazilian wonderkid Estêvão set to join Chelsea after Club World Cup

According to ESPN Brasil, Estêvão – the Brazilian wonderkid nicknamed “Messinho” – is set to join Chelsea after the 2025 Club World Cup in a transfer worth up to £60 million.

The 18-year-old has demonstrated exceptional abilities since his Palmeiras debut – impressing in Copa Libertadores and nearly claiming the Brazilian League top scorer title last season.

“It’s a dream come true for me. I’ve always dreamed of playing in Europe alongside the best, playing in important competitions such as the Champions League and the Premier League,” stated Estêvão.

Palmeiras coach Abel Ferreira offered high praise for the young talent – “He’s different from anything I’ve ever seen.”

The left-footed winger is known for his remarkable balance, agility, and vision. Agent André Cury revealed that Estêvão chose Chelsea because the club offered opportunities to play as a number 10.
